Rukiye USLU was born in İzmir in 1985. She graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Social Work in 2009. In the same year, she started her master's degree at Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Family Education and Counseling and graduated in 2011. At the same time, in 2009, she started to work as a social worker in the field of family and children under the Children in Need of Protection Branch within the İzmir Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of Family and Social Policies and continued this duty until 2012. In 2012, she continued her family and child-oriented studies as a clinical social worker in a psychiatric center in Northern Cyprus and participated in many trainings in this field. She is currently continuing her doctorate education at the Institute of Educational Sciences of Near East University and has been working as a lecturer at the Department of Social Work of the Faculty of Health Sciences of Near East University since the 2018-2019 academic year.
