She was born in Izmit in 1974. She graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of Child Development and Education, in 1996. She completed the Educational Audiology Master's program at the same university in 2000, the Audiology and Speech Disorders Master's program at Marmara University in 2007, and the doctorate program at the same university in 2016. Between 1999 and 2016, she worked as a manager in the private sector in the fields of hearing aid applications, auditory training, and cochlear implants. In 2016, she started working full-time at the NEU Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Audiology. Areas of interest: hearing aids, auditory cortical potentials, cochlear implant, and auditory-verbal education.
