Faculty of Health Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Sevinç Yücecan was awarded with a prize by National Ageing Council’s “Turkey Gerontology Awards” scientific board due to the studies performed in the area of Ageing. Prof. Yücecan was awarded with “X. Turkey Gerontology Awards- Scientific Service”. Professor Yücecan stated that she was very honored by the award, reaffirmed the importance of healthy aging and stated that she would continue to work in this field.
