“Access to Healthy Food” Project Supported by the European Union The “Access to Healthy Food” project, carried out by the Cyprus Turkish Dietitians Association and funded by the European Union, involved the active participation of the Association’s board members as well as many dietitians.
As part of the project, which targeted third- and fourth-grade students in public primary schools, dietitians visited schools to provide education on healthy eating and assess the outcomes of these educational activities. Among the participating dietitians were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hoca, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Near East University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Taygun Dayı, faculty member of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics and Pediatric Dietitian at Near East University Hospital.
