She was born on September 17, 1991 in Nicosia. She completed her primary education at Eşref Bitlis İlkokulu and her secondary education at Polatpaşa Ortaokulu. She completed her high school education at 20 Temmuz Fen Lisesi and graduated from Near East University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics in 2014. Then, she enrolled in the Nutrition and Dietetics Master's Program at the Near East University Institute of Health Sciences and started working as a research assistant at the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Health Sciences. She completed her master's degree in 2017 and continued her education in the Nutrition and Dietetics doctoral program. In 2022, she successfully defended her doctoral thesis titled "Neuroprotective Effect of Hesperidin and Naringin Components in the Experimental Model of Alzheimer's" and received the title of Doctor of Science. She served as the Gerontology Department Coordinator between 2018-2022. She currently serves as the Coordinator of the Emergency Aid and Disaster Management Department. She has been working in the organization and coordination of senior professional practices of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics since 2014. She is also the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics Representative of the SDG Goals and the Class Coordinator of the Faculty of Health Sciences. After completing her doctorate, she continues to work as a lecturer and writes national and international book chapters; she gives speeches and chairs sessions at symposiums. Her areas of interest are: diseases and medical nutrition treatment, relationship of nutritional components with diseases and nutrition education.
