Melis Bağkur graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in 2008. Immediately after graduation, she started working in the field of pediatric rehabilitation. In 2015, she started her master's degree at the Near East University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. In 2017, she completed her International Bobath Therapy Training and received the title of Bobath Therapist. She started her doctoral studies in 2018. She completed her PhD program in 2021. He was appointed as an assistant professor at Near East University in 2022. In 2023, she took the International Body Awareness Training and received the title of Body Awareness Therapist. She currently works as a lecturer at the Near East University Faculty of Health Sciences. Many articles in national and international indexed journals; she has made speeches and presentations at congresses and symposiums. Assist. Prof. Dr. Melis Bağkur's academic interests include pediatric rehabilitation. She is married and has two children.
