Near East University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Social Services organized the panel “Addiction and Fight with it”. Psychologist Melin Uluç talked in generalabout the concept of addiction, in particular gambling, alcohol and drug addiction.The students were asked to develop a model example of social work process by explaining the cases of addiction, the development process related to family communication disorders, the characteristics of addictive substances, the major destruction on the individual and the social destruction.
